New Release silver.eShop 4 to introduce improved backend
The new release of silver.eShop 4 comes with a new technical foundation. The shop software is now fully integrated with the CMS eZ Platform 2.4. With an update to Symfony 3, PHP developers can use the framework for easy expansions and customizations. Other than technical updates, the new release features major improvements for shop administrators and content editors alike.
silver.eShop 4 improves usability with a new backend, that also adds more functionality for even better integration of content and commerce. Users can quickly create landingpages with the new PageBuilder. The tool also allows for easy on-site editing. The editor aims to be more intuitive and will support users with easy to use drag & drop features. Typical shop elements like product sliders, bestsellers and other blocks can be integrated in any site without programming. Editors are able to prepare blocks of a site or landingpage for a scheduded release. Administrators will find the improved Cockpit useful, which gives an overview of important KPI and the shop’s server status.
