eZ Publish 5 – The next step

eZ Systems has released the long-awaited version 5 of eZ Publish just in time for Christmas. This heralds the start of a new era for the popular content management system.
- Ready for the future: eZ Publish now uses the proven Symfony 2 software framework, known for its modern, secure architecture. This facilitates development and enables faster implementation.
- Open: A new, comprehensive API offers developers many opportunities to adapt the CMS to customer needs.
- Big data: The platform has been expanded to enable a variety of storage engines to be used. We expect that by the middle of 2013, eZ Publish will be fully capable of managing millions of documents or products.
