“eZ Publish Enterprise” nominated for Content Management System 2011
Software-InitiativeDeutschland e.V. (SID) has presented eZ Publish Enterprise Edition with the SID award “Innovation 2011”. eZ Publish emerged as the winner from among more than 20 content management systems. The software initiative mentioned the system’s multichannel capabilities as one of its most important plus points. The system’s strict separation of layout and content, its consistent business focus and the open API concept also scored points.
Although the award was specifically presented to the commercial version of the CMS and not the open source version, the jury also mentioned the active eZ open source community, its innovative strength, quality assurance and expertise, which will ultimately also benefit the commercial software. The jury also mentioned the software’s manufacturer independence, which is relatively high in this sector, as particularly commendable.
eZ Publish has impressive references from around the world. The innovative CMS is the driving force behind the websites of France’s president Nicolas Sarkozy, the Financial Times, Sparda-Bank, the European Space Agency, the US defence ministry, Euronics, hannover.de, BMW, L‘Tur, The Wall Street Journal Asia and Interpol, the largest international police force.
