eZ meets Symfony in Berlin

The joint presentation by eZ and SensioLab went smooth and the two companies supplemented each other well: proper conditions for a long-term partnership.

SensioLab, the manufacturer of Symfony, presented some important events next to the presentation of the development. Among them was the Symfony2 Bootcamp in Vienna, the Symfony Summit and the Symfony Conference in Berlin in November.

eZ Systems presented the newest version of eZ 5 based on Symfony. The so-called "legacy mode" was particularly well received, which allows older eZ Publish developments to be adopted in eZ 5. In addition to the lecture, there was a lot of small talk between the developers from Symfony and eZ. The goal to join the communities of Symfony and eZ was successfully reached yesterday.

We are anticipating a good working relationship between the two companies and are looking forward to new developments.
