New B2B shop for members of the EGROH purchasing cooperative
The EGROH purchasing cooperative wants to make the purchasing process more convenient for its members and improve online service with a new B2B shop. EGROH has commissioned silver.solutions as project partner for the implementation. Proven functions will also be available in the new shop and new features such as search filters and self-administration options for customers will be implemented.
EGROH modernises its e-commerce platform
With the shop project, EGROH wants to relaunch its B2B online shop on the basis of a modern, user-friendly e-commerce platform. The choice fell on Ibexa Commerce.
New, practical ordering functions and search options will be added for customers, and an appealing user interface will make the shopping process more convenient.
At the same time, EGROH wants to raise the service for the members of the purchasing cooperative to a new level and provide them with useful self-administration tools and download functions in the customer menu, for example.
In the background, silver.solutions connected EGROH's ERP system, ORDAT, as well as the document management system Easy Archiv to the shop in order to display up-to-date product data, prices and individual documents for customers in the shop.
New functions for efficient purchasing
The new platform not only has a fresh look and feel, but above all offers useful additional functions that make the purchasing process for medical supply stores and orthopaedic technicians as efficient and convenient as possible.
When searching for products, customers can use filters in the new shop that narrow down products according to features such as manufacturer, colour, size, etc. Also practical is the new autosuggest function, which displays suggestions as soon as a search term is typed in.
Filters in the download area and in the statistics also make it easier to find the right data.
In the new shop, proven functions such as quick orders via a shopping basket upload in CSV format have also been reintroduced. Frequently used items can be stored on a favourites list.
Self-service tools for customers
The new user administration enables customers to create or delete new user accounts themselves and to assign rights in order to map their own internal workflows.
In the customer area, buyers can download their invoices and delivery notes, view orders and credit notes or register returns at any time. With these self-service tools, customers do not have to contact customer service first, but can take typical tasks into their own hands. This relieves the EGROH customer service and increases customer satisfaction among members. In addition, customers can also view and download extensive shopping statistics in their customer menu.
