Online shop based on Typo3 for mail order company for natural products

Overview

The PHP-based online shop needed to obtain all relevant data directly from the ERP system of Microsoft Navision. Customer orders needed to be transferred directly to merchandise management.

The solution in detail

• Installation of the B2B-Connector, developed jointly by silver.solutions 
• Linking of connector in the online shop through gestalten.de
• Expansion of the types of messages in the shop and Microsoft Navision to include customer-specific data

The result

The data are managed centrally in the Microsoft Navision ERP system. The following advantages arise from the online connection to Navision:

• Orders are transmitted directly to merchandise management in real time and can be forwarded from there with no extra effort. Navision receives information about the customer and the type of payment
• Effortless central maintenance of product information in Navision. The shop receives item information directly from Navision, thereby eliminating doubled maintenance of item information. The information in the shop is always up to date.

By using the B2B-Connector the shop can be operated in the provider’s computing center. The B2B-Connector ensures secure communication between the shop and Navision. The shop was developed on the basis of the TYPO3 CMS
