Relaunch of the website Kompetenzzentrum with Ibexa CMS

Overview

Project task was the development a new Web presence based on the Ibexa platform (after the Center’s strategic reorientation in September 2005) with complete redesign. The navigation structure underwent a complete revision. Further aspects to consider were the requirements for accessibility, multiple languages and the wish for micro-sites. 

The solution in detail

After the Center’s strategic reorientation in September 2005, the Website was completely redesigned. As part of the process, the navigation logic and structure were revised and sites that had previously not been incorporated were integrated into the content management system. The updated Website is oriented toward the requirements of accessible interaction (image alternative texts, adjustable text size).

Furthermore, many new functions, such as multilingual capability (individual pages will be available in English), feature boxes and a campaign calendar, were added. The design and technical specifications are targeted at the integration of microsites, e.g. "gender activities."

The result

The launch of the Center’s revised Website was used to convert to the current version of the Ibexa CMS.
