silver.solutions develops a product catalogue based on Ibexa platform for Santec video
Overview
The project task was to develop a multi-language product catalog with the Ibexa Platform that automatically imports product information from the FastPress catalog database. Partners should be supplied with special documents, for example price lists, PDF data sheets and other material.
The solution in detail
The product catalog was created using the Online Shop extension of the Ibexa software. Data transfer was effected using an automated import of products from FastPress into the catalog. Partners can view additional information after signing in. Because the structure of the pages corresponds to the previously implemented Sanyo-Video.de Website, the design was implemented by and large at a savings via revised CSS files.
The result
The catalog allows customers to get information about Santec products 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Expanded functions for partners were added using the administration of roles and privileges in the content management system.
