The project objective was the implementation of a new website as well as the construction of a B2B shop with extensive functions employing the business logic of Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP. The new solution was intended to completely replace the company's existing website and dealer area. The shop needed to provide a variety of information even without the dealer login. The ordering function and other extra services would require the existence of a dealer account, however.
Project objective was a complete design relaunch of the existing website and online shop with the update of the content management system based on the Ibexa platform. In addition the customer requested the integration of a sales representative function.
The project was started to design an Internet portal using th Ibexa CMS focusing particularly on young women.
The portal will be a source of information on scientific and technical study courses and professions, thereby making use of the potential of women in view of the emerging shortage of specialists in these professions.
Various additions to the CMS were implemented, including a link to a geographic information system (GIS), a specially developed newsletter tool and a form generator. The website is highly accessible.
Having implemented a B2C shop for our customer Selecta Spielzeug AG, we have now also set up a shop solution for distributors. Business customers can now access an online order platform for placing orders around the clock.
DORMA commissions silver.solutions with the development of a product information system, which is designed to provide information about the products offered by the individual DORMA divisions in more than 20 languages on over 30 domains. The import of existing data is a basic prerequisite.
The aim of the project was to set up a B2B online shop. The shop is connected to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system via the B2B-Connector and the integrated CMS offers the additional option of entering articles.
Besides standard shop functions like catalogue, cart and ordering process, the shop various additional functions which include document management, express orders and a download section.
In the project, an online shop was to be implemented that would integrate seamlessly with the ERP and the website created with Typo3. Data are imported into the shop from Navision as well as from other databases. The website catalog (and with it also the navigation structure) and the shop catalog are contentually identical. At the beginning the online shop is only available in German. For the future it is also possible to implement further languages.
The new B2B online shop now gives JAKO customers the opportunity not only to order with greater speed and ease but also to access innumerable services now available through JAKO. These include for example an express order form, the option to download various forms as PDF documents or an order history where customers can find an summary of their invoices, open items and credits.
The project goal was the replacement of an existing shop system, the conversion of the software to the Ibexa platform and the connection to the ERP system with a focus on system stability as well as the expandability of the system. The multilingualism and the connection of multiple Navision systems at distributed sites (e.g. Kirchdorf, Spain, Dubai) presented a special challenge in this context.
The existing online shop had to be migrated to a system that directly communicates with the ERP system but also receives product information from a catalog software. The aim was to reduce editorial effort and integrate the existing software systems.
